Speaker 1:

He has defrosted, she has defrosted welcome back to another episode of the hella cheese made podcast. My name is dana and I'm stephanie and we are your host.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, it's officially time. It's officially time. I'm so excited, I'm very excited that it is finally Christmas. You know I love Thanksgiving. Yes, I enjoy it, but Christmas is really my favorite holiday of all time. Same, I'm looking forward to all of the Christmas foolishness, including all of the intaking of wine and champagne and warm eggnog with Hennessy. Welcome back, friends, girl. What's going on? How was your thanksgiving?

Speaker 2:

well, today is technically the day after thanksgiving, so I'm still like in a food coma, um, but my thanksgiving was really nice. My brother fried a turkey for the first time and he did a great job. Um, there's nothing like a fried turkey in my opinion, really, yeah, it's my favorite, especially with the cajun seasoning and the cajun butter that it's injected with it's. It's really good. Um, yeah, I made the ham like I, like I usually do, and it came out really good. Um, it was nice. It was really nice. Um, it was small. This year we decided to just stay home, like my mom, my brother, my children and I, my brother's girlfriend, and, yeah, we had a yang dang doodle, like you say.

Speaker 2:

And it was, it was cute, yeah, and finally I was feeling better. Oh my gosh, before this I was so sick. When I tell you, I haven't gotten sick like that in years girl I had a fever, shaking, sweating, like my whole body hurt, like I have not been sick like that in a really long time and my kids don't ever really get sick and this year has just been like it's just been rocking us. But I'm feeling way better and today I went to my dad's house earlier and, um, he had pozole.

Speaker 2:

Oh, yum yeah, they made a chicken pozole so it was really good with some lemon and salsa and tostadas. It was really good. So I'm up to here with food.

Speaker 1:

Yes, I haven't even eaten, any leftovers. Well, yes, I had. I had some greens earlier today, but I'm about to. As soon as we're done, I'm going to go in there and put myself in another food coma. You know, have some macaroni and cheese.

Speaker 2:

Did you decide if you're hitting the streets today or not?

Speaker 1:

I still have not decided. Paris is in there, knocked out, so I don't know. I mean I kind of want to. I just want to go out, for you know see what's going on in the world. I haven't been out in a minute. It's Friday, but tomorrow I'm going to a Friendsgiving. So I'm like, should I just stay in and then go out tomorrow? But I don't know, we'll see what happens.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, how was yours?

Speaker 1:

It was good. Yes, today is technically Black Friday, so hopefully y'all are out there. Y'all was safe and nobody. We won't see anything on the news later this week or later in the weeks coming, but my Thanksgiving was good. We, I got up yesterday at 6 am in the morning to start cooking.

Speaker 1:

I, yeah, I, yesterday, the day before Wednesday, I did some prepping so I was like grating cheese and getting the grill ready, cause I smoked half of the turkey and baked the other half and, you know, made my broth for, you know the stuffing and gravy and all of the things. But yeah, I was up at six yesterday getting things together. I had my turkey went in the oven at like 745. Um, no, my turkey went on the grill at 745, one half. Then the other half went in the oven at 830 and then everything else after that just started to follow and, um, I was like all done at like noon or one, one o'clock noon or so, um, and I was tired as fuck like, oh my gosh, all that fucking cooking, all that walking around my back was hurting, I mean, I just was like well, mama, gotta sit down yeah, did a lot of people end up going over.

Speaker 1:

It was like six of us. So you know, the us, my mother-in-law, chris, our friend Crystal and Mo and another friend of ours, amy, came over, and then Greg showed up over and then Greg showed up, um, so you know. So we just hung out and ate and sat by the fire outside and drank a little bit and I think we were in bed like no later than 10, 30, 11, because I started, I cleaned and everything. I was like I'm not getting up to do that, so I was like I'm good.

Speaker 2:

I did a little bit of Black Friday shopping today oh, what'd you get?

Speaker 2:

I went to get, uh, winter coats for my kids, like the big puffy jackets with like the fur inside and stuff, um, and I was like, well, I'm off and let's see if. If it's too crazy then I won't, I'll just turn right around and come home. But when I got there the parking lot wasn't packed. I found a parking literally right in front and went in. I waited maybe like two, three people ahead of me and then that was it, the store wasn't a shit show. I went to Old Navy oh okay.

Speaker 2:

Because they have good like coats for the kids. And yeah it was, I got like really really good deals and yeah, like I said, it wasn't, it wasn't packed or crazy.

Speaker 1:

That's good.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if Black Friday is like what it used to be anymore. I feel like a lot of people now wait for Cyber Monday.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, or or just yeah. People just shop online now.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I feel like they have the same deal online.

Speaker 1:

So people are just like I'd rather do it online yeah, I feel like it's definitely not what it used to be. I think that, with the accessibility of shopping online, I think people choose to do that more often, which I understand right, I just wanted to go because I was off and you know why.

Speaker 2:

Like I was like let me just go see, like what it's like, and because next to that, well, maybe there's like a Best Buy, a Walmart, so I was like I wonder if it's. You know how it used to be? I remember people used to like freaking pitch tents and all kinds of crazy shit and all kinds of crazy shit. And, yeah, it was definitely not as crazy or hectic as it used to be.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think that's kind of also what I'm just like. I want to be out in the world a little bit.

Speaker 2:

I want to be in the elements.

Speaker 1:

Like what's up? Who's in the streets these days? That's how I was feeling.

Speaker 2:

That's true I haven't been to a bar in A long time.

Speaker 1:

It's been a long time, yeah, we need to get it together.

Speaker 2:

I know I need to pop out. I need to get dressed cute, cute. Do my makeup cute and like just pop out?

Speaker 1:

huh yes, just pop out for a little bit, you know, see what's happening in the world it's the blind leading the blind, y'all girl, I mean you know just what's up?

Speaker 1:

like the song you gotta pop out and show you gotta pop out and show up sometimes I don't know I just I haven't been, I haven't done, yeah I would say know, I haven't been out, I would say I guess I haven't really been out since Pride and, honestly, hillcrest is always like Riches decorates every year for Christmas. Who else decorates? Pretty much every Riches decorates, mo's decorates. They always decorate for Christmas. So I really just like to go see some of their Christmas lights and enjoy a drink at the same time.

Speaker 2:

Right and the shit people wear.

Speaker 1:

Yes, exactly.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So I don't know, we'll see what today brings, but pretty much this weekend is I've been trying to relax and chill out since I'm off. I probably should open my work laptop maybe Sunday midday and do a little work before pre-work before Monday, because honestly, I fucked off all last week yeah, I feel like everybody kind of did yeah, what's the price that?

Speaker 2:

how many people worked today?

Speaker 1:

I know I yeah, but it's just weird because I feel like usually, I mean, I feel like every place I've worked they get, except for the post office. They gave us the day after Thanksgiving off, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Did our old job give us yeah right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they gave us the day after Thanksgiving. They gave us Christmas Eve. After thanksgiving, they gave us christmas eve and christmas day off, and then we had to go back at the day after christmas, unless we requested it off. And then they gave us new year's eve new year's day off yeah and um, I think that's it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, I was like I couldn't remember, but I was like, yeah, I don't know, the last time that I worked I had to work on Black Friday, so I was surprised that so many people had to work today.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Shout out to y'all that all had to work today. Work, yeah, shout out to y'all that all had to work today.

Speaker 2:

My brother, walked in as soon as um from work, as soon as we were saying that shout out to all the working peoples yeah, but I it's, it's like you said, like it's like the jobs that are like the post office, like jobs like that have a certain like routine or like schedule. I think that are more like adamant about, you know, having people work.

Speaker 1:

Yes. So what was your favorite? So we know you love the fried turkey, but what else was your favorite thing that you ate for Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2:

Well, I won't say the ham, because I need the ham, but I would say, um, my mom's stuffing. She always makes a good stuffing, so it was. It was really good. My brother's girlfriend made mac and cheese and it was good, so yeah, we also got like a coconut pie from Marie Callender's.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I was just about to ask what kind of dessert did y'all have?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we had that. And shout out to my auntie Pattyty.

Speaker 1:

She brought me a pecan pie that she made from scratch oh yeah and you know she gets down yeah, yes, yes, that's real good um what about yours? We. Well, I don't know who made the mac and cheese, but the mac and cheese is really good I missed. Your mac and cheese is your two and your and paris's yams yes, we got a lot left, so if you want to come grab something, you should. Um, we had to go give some away to the homeless over in the US, which we pretty much do every year, but the mac and cheese was good. Maureen made a real good cheesecake.

Speaker 2:

Oh.

Speaker 1:

By her.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Real good. Yes, the pound cake I made was good you made almost everything. Um, both turkeys came out really good. My first time smoking a turkey. Um, are both parts of the turkey came out really good. Uh, what else? I guess those are my standout favorites. Okay, yeah, yeah, I would say those are my standout. Where are my standouts? I love yams, but I love them the day after when I'm eating them with the mac and cheese. It's like that sweet and savory. Oh, I'm going to have that tonight.

Speaker 2:

Um, did your husband work?

Speaker 1:

no, he's working tomorrow though, okay yes, no, he's working tomorrow, so, um, pretty much I'm off until Monday, right, um so I'm gonna enjoy my time same um side note. We need to talk because, um, I think we may need to go do like a little girls day like a a cheese may a hella cheese.

Speaker 2:

May relaxation day oh, that'd be cute. Um, also, the posadas are coming up. Have you ever heard of posadas?

Speaker 1:

no, what are those?

Speaker 2:

so let me get the exact definition of it. I just thought of it because I have one next weekend definition of it.

Speaker 1:

I just thought of it because I have one next weekend. Oh, I thought, is it like a food? It's not a food, literally.

Speaker 2:

What is a posada? So posadas remember the journey of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and her husband Joseph. According to the Christian faith, the two traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem. They were seeking shelter and a safe place for Mary to birth Jesus. So a lot of times you sing, so like you know people, christmas carolers they do that.

Speaker 2:

It's like you sing and then usually it's like one part of the group is inside the house and then one part of the group is outside, or or if it's in a facility, it's like in, out, like just so. Anyways, there's like a song and it's basically like um asking them for refuge, or like for a place, shelter, a place to stay, whatever, and the people that are inside refuse several times before finally letting them in yes yeah we're gonna recognize las posadas at work.

Speaker 1:

Actually, after you started reading, I was like oh, I know what that is. Um, we're gonna talk about it at our board meeting.

Speaker 2:

Uh, this month for december yeah, and you um like similar, like a potluck style type of thing. A lot of people you know drink or a lot of more food and just more more celebrating.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

We have an event posada with juniors, like baseball team.

Speaker 1:

Oh really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so we're going to have a big one at the facility where they practice and stuff, so it should be nice. I love that.

Speaker 1:

And I'm sure they're going to be have some snacks and food or something like potluck style.

Speaker 1:

Um, so, in lieu of Thanksgiving and Black Friday. So one of the things that I wanted to make sure to mention today was all of the girlies that you know wear, you know, your eyeglasses or your bifocals. And this is not a paid ad or, you know, paid sponsorship, but I just wanted to bring it up just because I love this company so much. Zilul, which is Z-E-E-L-O-O-L, which is a website that sells eyeglass, wear sunglasses, but I mostly use them for my eyeglasses. So, very affordable, always has deals going on. They're doing a huge Black Friday deal right now, which is pretty typical. They have their typical buy one, get it the other frame 50% off.

Speaker 1:

They have that pretty often, but their Black Friday mega savings is $0 for frames, with 20% off, and then you buy two pairs, you get a glass case. So you go in, you find a pair that's $0. And then you get 20% off the selected lenses and then, if you buy two pair, you'll get a free eyeglass case, right. So I think that's a really, really good deal because, essentially, you're not having to pay for the frames. You're only paying for if you have to get add your prescription, essentially, and any additional features you add on to your eyeglasses, like, for example, if you have the blue, the blue reflector, whatever it's called, if you need to add on them to you know transitions from you know dark to light when you're inside or outside.

Speaker 1:

So you know, it's a really good deal on Zilu right now. So you know, check it out if you guys can. I'm definitely going to take advantage because if you know me, you know that I have a new pair of glasses damn near every season.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

And yes, they're all prescription.

Speaker 1:

Period season yes, so, and yes, they're all prescription period um. Other than that, uh, today we had a um. At first we were gonna do a worldwide cheesemate episode and talk about the shit that's going on in the world, but since we are getting to the end of the year, I think it'd be great to talk about manifesting things for the new year. You know, kind of looking into preparing for your future, right? Like what is the new year going to look like for you? What are some things that you definitely want to try and work on for the new year? What do you want to do? What do you want? I think so.

Speaker 1:

Today I actually had my first session with my therapist and we talked about you know just what I want, what I want to do, and you know a lot of the times and the reason I started to look at therapy was really just because I have troubles with figuring out things, meaning like, all the different things that I want to do, all the things that I'm interested in. Having difficult conversations sometimes can be hard. Even though I look at myself to be a good communicator, it's just sometimes hard for me to navigate those conversations. But the center of the conversation today was understanding through all the different things that I want to do and all the things that I'm doing, I need to get clear on what's the actual end goal that I'm trying to get to. So which made me think about, you know, manifesting for the new year.

Speaker 1:

So we're going to do that. We are going to, you know, talk about the areas in which we are focusing on and dig a little deep, and then we have pulled some tarot cards to kind of direct us and tell us what it's looking like for the future, and we're going gonna talk about it. So, um, let's take a short break and then we'll be back and we'll jump right in.

Speaker 2:

And thank you, guys, for tuning in and we are back, okay.

Speaker 1:

So, like we mentioned, we are trying to just, you know, step into the new year, new me, manifestation. You know, I think that I think people use the word manifestation a lot but not really clear on what it is, that it means and what it is that they are looking to do when they are quote unquote manifesting things. To me, when we're talking about manifesting I am, I, for me, am trying to set myself up to work towards something in the new year right.

Speaker 1:

So, to me, when I'm manifesting, I am setting up those goals and making sure that I'm setting up things, them at some point in the end. So you know, in listening to this and when you know you're thinking about what it is that you are trying to do for the new year, what it is that you want to, what goals you want to meet, know that you have to be able to think about these things in a way of, yes, you want to make sure next year you have money, but how do you want to start the business? What? What pathways are you going to take in order to get to that, um, that end goal? Um. So, with that being said, uh, I'm going to kick it over to Stephanie to talk about the areas in which she is looking to, uh, to kind of work towards for next year that we're manifesting yeah, so basically it was like three main um main focuses that I I want to, you know, manifest and, like you said, manifestation is up for interpretation.

Speaker 2:

I feel like everyone has a different approach. I've heard there's like verbalizing it, you know, like just speaking it constantly and just like, or writing it down, having like post-its that you look at every day. Um, just so many things, right, and, yeah, you know, meditating on it or whatever, but, um, so it is like not just, like you said, like thinking it and like, okay, I want this to happen, like bam, it's gonna happen. Like magic, it's like, uh, doing the work along with it and making sure that thought or that goal or idea, whatever it is, um, like it's staying fresh in your, in your brain, right?

Speaker 1:

yes, yeah um.

Speaker 2:

So my first one is um, I really want to manifest abundance for next year. So, um, people, you know, sometimes they hear abundance and then they think like, oh, just like, like a large, like, uh, you know, cash, like a large, like abundant cash portion or something like that. But for when I say, you know, I want an abundant year, um, of course I do want some financial abundance, just like a raise at work, obviously, maybe a bonus or an inheritance or something like that, and abundant opportunities, so just like growing at work and like whether that's taking on new tasks to prepare me to level up at work. Networking, so like an abundance of like connections, like just, you know, networking, speaking with people that have either similar goals, similar, um, like motivation, people I can learn from, people I can teach, just like. Um, networking, you know, like just opening me up to new ideas or just lighting some sort of like spark and motivation.

Speaker 2:

Um, an abundance of collaborations, you know, which is something that we've mentioned here just like collaborating, um, whether that's having them on here, whether that's like sponsoring each other in some way, or just like behind the scenes stuff of like ideas or whatever it is, you know, like putting us on game or putting people on game. Um, because I feel like, too, when you give, like you're showing the universe and God, whatever you believe in, that you're not just like getting something and being like, oh, it's for me, you know, like you're spreading more and more and an abundance of mental growth. I feel like I've grown a lot this year. Like from the beginning of the year to now is like night and day night and day.

Speaker 2:

I'm completely different, like in so many ways. So I want that to continue, like I really want to you know my mindset to just keep like growing and being on game and stuff like that Physical growth, so like just strengthening myself, like my body, my being able to do more cardio, last longer, and spiritually I feel like this year I've been pretty consistent about going to church, praying, reading scripture, um, and I really want to like have an abundance of spiritual growth too and just really learning the scripture or just, you know, just connecting more and yes, spiritually and um, yeah, just like an abundance. So when I say that like an abundance of these things, you know, um, my second manifestation is I want a whole new, like a leveled up approach to life in general. So a leveled up approach to dating heavy on that heavy on the leveled up and heavy on the dating.

Speaker 2:

Yes, heavy up heavy on the levels of dating yeah, so like men that are just like a leveled up you know like leveled up than what I'm used to.

Speaker 2:

A leveled up, you know, like leveled up than what I'm used to myself approaching it in a more leveled up way, like having a little bit higher expectations for the man and for myself. Um, just all that you know. And um a leveled up approach to self-care. So not just like buying a freaking an exfoliator and then like calling it like that's nice and everything and I'm super grateful to be even able to do that, but I'm saying like just more right, like when I say self-care right, like it doesn't even have to be costly. It's like taking time to myself and really like whether it's quiet time or like yoga or like my audio books, and just really making sure that I give myself that. You know, working out like I want to level up on that, my communication. I want to keep growing that. Um, the way I dress, like just try to present myself better. Um, the podcast you know it is. We have a lot of plans in store that are gonna level it up. So just keeping that up.

Speaker 2:

Um my, like I said, my connection with god. I wanted to just be leveled up and stronger. And my like my relation, my friendships, family, like I just want everything to be at a higher level. You know so. And then, lastly, I do want to manifest the relationship it has been in my mind for like the last couple months, like two, three months of like you know, I haven't been in a relationship since. You know, I haven't been in a relationship since the father of my children and I split Like I haven't and I really don't talk about it much, but I haven't been in like a relationship. I've dated, talked, whatever, but I haven't actually like committed to someone.

Speaker 1:

How long has it been?

Speaker 2:

It's been a little over two years.

Speaker 1:

Gosh.

Speaker 2:

And the other day I was like, do I have commitment issues or attachment issues? Do I have commitment issues or attachment issues? But then I was like it's not me, I'm not the problem that's right.

Speaker 1:

That's a manifest that the understanding. I'm literally perfect.

Speaker 2:

I'm literally perfect. I'm not the problem. No, I have, though I have reflected and I'm like this feeling, like I'm so guarded and I'm so protected and I'm so, like you know, like fuck no, but I have to. I can't be like that right, because then I can block my blessings and I can just block a lot of things and like just taking it slowly and, like you know, being open to it and being like okay, just because I get in a relationship is not like the end of the world or like it's not gonna, like you know.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I get that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So I just want, like I would like to manifest like a healthy relationship, a respectful one, a loving one, a healthy one, you know, and if it gets to the point that it's more serious and everything cool, you know. But I, I just want to experience, uh, you know, a relationship that's completely different than what, um, I'm used to, not that they've all been like so bad and like only bad and stuff, but like just different. I just wanted to be different. You know, I'm also older, so like it's time, you know.

Speaker 1:

And we are not getting any younger girl.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And situationships.

Speaker 2:

Whack.

Speaker 1:

Whack.

Speaker 2:

Whack. Girl, I just and sometimes okay, I'm getting distracted but like sometimes the feelings you catch in a situation ship what have you out here, fucked I was like bitch, what are you doing? Like what you won't get in a relationship. But this situation has you like. I was like no, can't be doing that, they're ghetto, ghetto. So I understand those are my three main um manifestations for 2025.

Speaker 1:

Well, starting now, because I don't want to wait right well, yeah, obviously right, like you have to work towards it, you have to work up to it, but yeah start planning that scene so mines are in two main areas, so success and love and marriage.

Speaker 1:

Um, so, in work, uh, just more development opportunities in my role and putting myself out there a little bit more. Um, I'm very fastly approaching my one year mark, shortly after the new year, which is crazy to think, um, and you know there's been a lot of differences, a lot of changes at work, um, in a lot of things happening. So I just want to make sure that I need to start putting myself out there and stop hiding behind a lot of the work that I do so that I can be seen as a leader and an innovator and a forward-focused person and moving things forward and creating my path in my career that I now have, or that I'm continuing, of course, growth of the podcast. So, you know, making sure that we're building more of a following, more listeners, which will then allow us to monetize with the show and, like you've already said, we already have things in place that we're moving forward to be able to do that. So that's awesome.

Speaker 1:

And school, you know, continuing my work in school and my education successfully moving me into the next phase of grad school. So that means taking on more classes this next semester, which I've already done, and taking classes, probably next um, next summer, uh, and then into the fall, and then I'll be able to start moving into applying for grad school. Um, and then love and marriage, you know, continued growth of my, the marriage with my partner, understanding, uh, continued understanding with each other, who we are as people, um, putting into our space, in our home, uh, and figuring out the next phase in life. Uh, we've been talking a lot about children again, um, which I don't think I've shared with you or have said, but we have, so we just need to get an understanding of what that means. I have been having baby fever for some time, so I don't know what that looks like or what that means.

Speaker 2:

But I would die. I'm going to be such a crybaby, okay, sorry.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I so we have to figure it out. Yeah, so we have to figure it out we. Yeah, you know I have my own fears with doing that, but yeah, so, manifesting those understandings and those things for me, and those are the two big areas for next year, which is continued success and the things that I mentioned, and just my marriage and my husband.

Speaker 2:

My man, my man, my man.

Speaker 1:

My man, my man, my man. And then, of course, you know me like right, Like I've mentioned at the beginning part of the episode that I've started going to therapy, um, so, exploring what that means, you know, I think today I felt like, um, I felt like, although I don't sometimes need to figure, I need someone to help me figure out the direction I'm going in, like I can't do it all on my own. So I'm happy and excited to explore kind of what that mental health journey looks like, and also physical health too. So you know, I've been talking about this bike, not that that's going to solve all my problems, but it will help me just do something different and get my ass out the house, hopefully. So I am hopeful and excited to see what the fuck happens.

Speaker 2:

I'm proud of you for going back to therapy.

Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Thank you, you know I, today was just day one, so we just don't see what happens.

Speaker 2:

And it's not like a, like, like there's no end, like there's no. Like you know what I mean. Like, oh, I need to get six therapy sessions or whatever. Like it's just like a, like a, just it. How do I explain it? Like someone just kind of pushing you, pushing, pushing you, you know, like along the road, like it's not even just like, that's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah so we'll see.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it'll be good.

Speaker 1:

So we mentioned that we pulled cards to kind of you know, see what all of that looks like. Right, I'm going to share my screen. I'm going to share my screen and show the cards that we pulled. So is that it? Yeah, that's it. So if you're watching us on the patreon, then you can see the cards. Can you see the card, stephanie?

Speaker 2:

yes okay.

Speaker 1:

So we pulled um, this is actually needs to be reversed. I wish I could turn it upside down. Oh, yes, I can. Here we go. So it's like this. So we pulled the Hierophant, which is upside down, the Page of Wands, which is upside down, the Magician and the Pentacles, which are both right side up. So again, the Hierophant is.

Speaker 2:

Sorry, the Seven of Pentacles right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, the Seven of Pentacles. Yes, sorry. So the Hierophant is upside down, the Page of Wands is upside down, the Magician is right side up and the Seven of Pentacles is right side up as well and, as you can see, there is a hardworking woman with a baby there or growing something in her belly, which is very interesting. When I pulled it, I'm going to kick it back over to Stephanie, who will read kind of what these cards mean for me, and then I will do the same for her.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so the beginning theme is Brink of Growth. So the combination of the Seven of Pentacles and the magician suggests Dana is at a pivotal moment where his hard work is starting to bear fruit. However, the page of wands reverse hints at a potential inner block. Hints at a potential inner block, perhaps doubt about his readiness to take on leadership or a lack of clarity about his next steps. Pause, that's crazy, because you just said that you started therapy like wanting to gain those things which is cool, okay.

Speaker 2:

So actionable insight dana should assess his goals and reflect on where his energy is being directed. The seven of pentacles encourages him to review his efforts, recognizing the progress he he has already made, while staying patient with results that take time to materialize, trusting his path. So the Hierophant reverse challenges Dana to break away from rigid systems or self-imposed limits that no longer serve him. This could mean redefining success on the terms. Rather than adhering to traditional expectations. Actionable insight Dana may benefit from exploring unconventional approaches in his career or education, for example, building the leadership style authentically, without conforming to predefined roles, and embracing creativity in how he grows. The podcast Success and love Success. The magician highlights his resourcefulness and potential to manifest his career and podcast goals. Combined with the Seven of Pentacles, it emphasizes that the success will come from balancing focus and tension with steady, consistent effort.

Speaker 1:

Love.

Speaker 2:

In the context of his marriage. The page of wands reversed may suggest that he or his partner might be hesitant to explore new dynamics. The hierophant reversed hints at the importance of breaking old habits to grow together authentically actionable insight dana can focus on open communication with his partner, exploring shared goals, example, the decision about children in work and love. Trusting his intuition will guide him towards fulfillment. I love that for you Sounds like you're going to be doing a lot of inner work.

Speaker 1:

Girl, I mean, and it's funny because if you ask me I've done a lot of inner work, right? But I guess. But as many people say, the work is never over. It's always more work to be done. There's always more things that you could do in order to to grow essentially right so and different type of work yes, and different types of work.

Speaker 1:

Um, and then, in thinking about all of this, it's like you know, it's true, right like there, there, like there are blocks where there's doubt, where I don't feel I'm ready, but not specifically because I don't feel ready that I can do it or can't do it. I don't feel like I know that I want to do it in the space that I'm in. Not talking about children with my marriage, I'm talking about just like growth and leadership and stuff like that. You know I've talked about moving into different departments or different areas because, quite frankly, hr and DI is HR will always be there.

Speaker 1:

Di may not right, we know where we're going, we know where the world is headed right now with this new regime. We're not going to go there. But it's just like you know, there's so many factors, there's so many things that play a factor into just you know, the blocks and the areas in which I'm just completely unsure and just don't fucking know. And then, just like I mentioned earlier, just about, like you know, I have to figure it out and you know I have to sit with myself, I have to get real clear. I even I think that I'm going to have to go back to journaling, which I used to do consistently, but I need to get back to just doing it consistently again, just so that I can get back in a headspace where I'm organizing my thoughts. Organizing my thoughts, um, and then also, you know, I use the word organized a lot, and although I'm organized in certain spaces, those spaces where I then be organized, then I lose the organization in the other spaces. So, yeah, it's a it is.

Speaker 2:

But you have time and recognizing, like everything you just said, like regular, like self-recognizing, addressing things like that's an amazing first step that not a lot of people are, that it takes them a lot of time to do so the fact that you already can like acknowledge those things, identify them, you know. So then you can take the actions that align with your angle, your manifestation, like that's huge, so so yeah give yourself grace.

Speaker 1:

Yes, um, so before we jump into, uh Stephanie's piece, I want to um take a break and then we will be back, uh, to go into all things that Stephanie got going on.

Speaker 2:

Get your tea.

Speaker 1:

Get your tea. No, I'm just kidding. All right, let's take a break, and then we'll be back.

Speaker 2:

Bye.

Speaker 1:

And we are back. All right, Stephanie, are you ready?

Speaker 2:

I'm ready, okay.

Speaker 1:

So your main themes, based on the cards that we have chosen, is transformation and self-empowerment. So the hero fan reversed and the page of wands reversed reflects that you desire to break away from outdated beliefs. So self-care and wanting to grow are those major areas for the hero fin and the page of wands reversed, the cards reversed show that you might feel stuck in a cycle, out of them, but wanting them not to be the theme of how you build new relationships and moving into dating or continuing to date. So some action areas for you you should just reflect on, like the lessons you learned from past relationships, which we do, which you do and we talk about.

Speaker 1:

Um, definitely reflect on some of those habits okay, I don't know if you are trying to be shady, but okay, some of those habits, asking yourself what serves you, uh, at your highest good, versus, uh, hold you back right, like when you're, when you're, when you're out there doing your thud thistle, what serves you Like? What do you? What feeds into you? Know what it is that you want, where you're trying to go, what you want to do and, honestly, like you know who will, who will guide you through those things and who will also cheerlead for you right, Like who will be, like, yes, you go do that, Like I'm going to be right here and support you.

Speaker 1:

Journaling, which I know you do, and guided meditation will help for your clarity and also could help for goals. So, inner resources. So the magician underscores your power to manifest abundance in a new relationship. So this is something I've seen from you that you actually are really good with manifesting, that. You actually are really good with manifesting the things that you want. So to me, that means that you're very head. When you say you want to do something, I can see when you're headstrong about making sure that it happens, which you know I think is dope, and you know I've seen you do these things.

Speaker 1:

So the magician, this card, signals that you already have everything you need to succeed. Um, so, you have the skills, you have the intuition, you have the creativity, but you must believe in the ability to transform uh, in your life. So you have to be able to believe in the fact that you can do all the things that you want to do. To be able to believe in the fact that you can do all the things that you want to do and just be able to move it forward. Some actionable items for this piece is you know, you should focus on practical steps to cultivate abundance in your life, such as networking, pursuing collaborations or learning new skills. Visualization exercises can also help you align with your goals. So, making sure that I mean like vision boards, like you do vision boards every new year, don't you?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So you know, actually using those right, Like, how can you create a vision board and make sure that you create the steps to move towards what you're putting on those vision boards?

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So abundance and relationships. So the seven of pentacles paired with the imagery of a pregnant woman highlights the importance of nourishing opportunities. Over time, your abundance may grow slowly, but with dedication it will be fulfilling and sustainable. The pregnancy imagery could symbolically represent a birth of a new kind of a relationship. So maybe there's something on the way, one that's healthy, loving and respectful. Some other items to just focus on is setting clear boundaries and intentions for the next relationship, which I think is really important for you. You might also find it helpful to align your energy with what attracts you by embodying those qualities yourself. So if you're being loving, if you're being respectful, if you're being fun in your own life and making sure to exude that, you'll naturally attract the person that has those same qualities and more that you're looking for.

Speaker 2:

oh, that's cute. I like the um guided meditation and the visualization I. You know what I think would be cool if you and I both did like a guided meditation, like um even if we just sit like in your living room and listen to it, like because you know youtube has good guided meditations and just visualize the podcast like that and we can manifest it together.

Speaker 1:

I'll be down for that, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Because they say, like with prayer, like God is present when there's two or more people that are united in prayer. So maybe it's something like that, you know.

Speaker 1:

I'll definitely be down.

Speaker 1:

I'm always open to new ways of meditation and all the things, so I would be down for that are in very big, significant areas of transition where patience, trust and deliberate efforts are essential. So we have to be very mindful and intentional of everything that we do right. So, whether it's with the show, whether it's in our personal lives, whether it's with the show, whether it's in our personal lives, whether it's with relationships or whatever it is, we have to be intentional, we have to be strategic and we also have to be mindful. And then we have to put forth the effort to actually make all those things come to fruition. Some big things is breaking old cycles. So we both need to shed the limiting beliefs or habits to unlock the new potential for new things.

Speaker 1:

This might involve stepping outside of our comfort zone and exploring new ways of doing things, which I think is always good and trusting in time. I'm not very good of this part, with this part, because I am impatient, you know. I think shows up sometimes in many different ways, but you know, you know I try my best to man, I try my best just to not be that way, but also it does show up for me and we have to balance the urgency of these desires with patience, like I said, for results to unfold naturally. So everything, even though we want all these things, it's not just going to happen overnight and, like I said, that goes into us being intentional and making sure that we're strategic about the things that we're doing and then tapping into our inner strength. The magician symbolizes our ability to manifest dreams through focus and forcefulness. It reminds us to trust in their power and remain proactive in aligning the actions with our intentions based on all the things that we want to do and try to do.

Speaker 2:

The things we're going to do. The things we're going to do.

Speaker 1:

The things that we're going to do Exactly, and it's also like word choice Trying, and you know I need to Our desire.

Speaker 1:

Our desire, but we're going to move forward and work towards these things. So, all in all, we got work to do and, even though you know these are things that we want to do for the for next year, um, I think as long as we stay vigilant, stay strong, um, and stay intentional, uh will we will achieve what it is that we wanted to achieve for next year, um, and I think this is a good starting point to come back and check in with one another, uh, at the mid-year for next year to see kind of where we're at oh, there's this tiktok uh trend I want to do.

Speaker 2:

I think it would be cool, um the day that we're scheduled to do in person. So I was seeing this girl and she's like, um, hey, so like say it's me, right. So like, hey, steph, it's me, it's December 2024. Tech checking in hey, did we ever get into a relationship? And then you go back to it, say just December of 2025, you go back, you play that, and then you respond to yourself like hey, steph, it's me in 2025. 2025. Yes, we did get into a relationship and this was the outcome. And then, hey, did we end up doing this? And then, yeah, like I don't know, it's pretty cool. And then you can see how different you look and just everything it's.

Speaker 1:

yeah, I mean I'm definitely down to do that. I um, I think that could be fun. Yeah, I think there's so much, there's so much untouched, untapped things out there. There's just so much that we could do and I'm just excited to do it. So we'll see what's happening and where we end up going next girl.

Speaker 2:

Stars yes.

Speaker 1:

So I'm excited. So cute episode. It was very, very cute. Let's take our final break and then we'll close out with a affirmation that hopefully will help us get inspired to continue to move forward.

Speaker 2:

Bye.

Speaker 1:

So I did pull an affirmation card and it says I need not look further than myself. All that I seek resides within me, which I think goes perfect with everything we've talked about today. So it says my love, love inward is the answer. That is where the beauty is held. If you pull this card, you may be seeking important information or answers. At this time, spirit boldly asks you take a step back and focus within. What does your body tell you? That is the key to you all that you seek, and the prompt is what information is my body communicating to me? So, what is your body communicating, steph?

Speaker 2:

I need to stop eating this Thanksgiving food.

Speaker 1:

She said no more mac and cheese please.

Speaker 2:

I just think like my gut and like my intuition and stuff is just telling me like to get ready.

Speaker 1:

To be ready.

Speaker 2:

Be, ready, saying gotta get ready because it's gonna be different, next year's gonna be different and you know you have to. Like you said um, like it said in my cards like if I want to attract something, I have to embody those qualities. So like if I want a leveled up experience at life, an abundant life, I have to be more just lively. You know like lively, have a little more fun and just be more like open to those things and like allow it to flow to me I agree um what about you?

Speaker 1:

yeah, honestly, it's just. I always say being intentional about everything. I think that my struggle is I can be intentional, but I don't know how to prioritize the intentions and I don't know if that makes any sense. So my intentions for what? The different things that I, that I'm, you know, trying to do, and things like that um may come in different orders, um, but not realizing that it's out of order for the things that I, that I'm saying that I want to do, it doesn't always match. So how do I organize those things in order to make sure that it's all aligning and all matching up? And I think, just like I said, that goes back into me needing to go back and journal, because if I put it on paper then I can say, okay, well, this is what you said on Tuesday, so how is what you want to do, this, matching with that?

Speaker 2:

I think that's called ADHD. I just kidding.

Speaker 1:

No, but for real. No, seriously, it's all over the place, right, like you know, it's just, it's so many things and it's hard things and, um, it's hard, it's hard, right, like there's so many areas and I'm distracted by so many things.

Speaker 2:

I'm just like lord jesus, somebody help me, god but you know what, on the flip it's better than on the flip side of it being like a lazy or passive person. That's just like well, in my opinion, it is better than just being like oh if it happens, uh, it'll find me, like you know, like you're a go-getter, so yeah so we just gotta zone that in. I feel you, though I have to do the same thing.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, man. We'll get there. We'll see how it goes. Other than that, we hope that you all enjoyed this week's episode. Please, please, be safe. No drinking and driving.
