Spooky Retreats and Island Dreams
Welcome back to another episode of the Hella Chisme Podcast.
This week we explore the cultural heartbeat of National City and the innovative potential of electric bikes as an alternative mode of transport. Inspired by a co-worker's journey from Chula Vista, we discuss the benefits of exercise, environmental consciousness, and nature interaction. And because no adventure is complete without a touch of personal flair, we delight in playful discussions of tropical-themed nail designs for Hawaii. From reality TV drama to relationship dynamics, our episode weaves through diverse topics that promise to entertain and engage.

Speaker 2:That's my favorite word, why they gotta say it like short. You know they can't play on my court, can't hang with the big dogs. They, on the porch, blow the whistle, blow the whistle, blow the whistle, blow the whistle. Ey, pero no hay boda. Titi, me pregunto si tengo muchas novias, muchas novias. Hoy tengo a una mañana a otra, me la voy a llevar a la toa con VIP. And we are back. Yes, happy Halloween. It is officially, officially, officially, officially spooky season, and you know, you see, we have changed it up again with our little backdrop. I guess If you're watching us on Patreon, then you can see that, or if you saw the clip, you can see it on Instagram. But yes, it's officially spooky season. You know, we like to make sure that we are within theme, uh, but my name is dana and I'm stephanie and we are your host.
Speaker 2:It is friday, um, and I am happy. The week is fucking over. Um, how are you doing? How are things going? What's happening?
Speaker 1:I double down on what you said. It has been a very uh busy week, for sure. Um, yeah, I mean just my typical you know schedule, also preparing to go to vacation in less than a week, oh my. God girl High five to us Well deserved.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh, I cannot fucking wait. So where are you going? Tell us all about it.
Speaker 1:Yes, I'm going to La Paz. I have actually always wanted to go there. I've heard that the waters are, the beaches are more virgin, so the water is a lot more clear than a lot of places that more tourists go to. It is a lot slower paced and it's not as much like partying and like you know that kind of stuff. But, um, I think we are going to rent a car there and los cabos, uh, is like two hours, so I think one of the days we'll go spend the day in cabo oh it's, is it that close?
Speaker 1:it's close, yeah, so I think we'll do that. Um, so it'll be fun. I'm looking forward to it and just relaxing and not having to be like just relaxing and breathing, it's just like you know, yes, what is?
Speaker 2:what are some things that la paz is known for?
Speaker 1:yes, what is? What are some things that la paz is known for? So la paz is known for the seafood and, um, it is known for, um balandra beach, which is like, uh, like a very well-known beach, and then this little island called isla espiritu santo that they and, yeah, it's known for, like that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2:Nice, and it's so. If it's so, then it's on the coast as well. If it's by Cabo, then right Like it's, yeah, it's on the Baja, yeah. Okay, okay.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, so I'm getting ready for that. Yeah, so I'm getting ready for that. And then this weekend they let me know, like two days ago or like a day ago, that, um, my son is selected to go to a tournament in temecula. So that's cool, uh. The only downside is that, since it is so close, like in time wise, um, the rooms are like four or five hundred dollars a night oh, and to michael.
Speaker 2:Where into michael are you gonna stay, yeah?
Speaker 1:all the hotels are like 400, 500, all the hotels oh, I guess there is. Uh, there's a um, there is a um a hyatt place there I looked at the marriott marriott um sweets like it's like homewood fairfield sweets or something like that by sheraton oh, yeah, I looked those um.
Speaker 2:They're all like stupid expensive well, also because it's the weekend and you know people go to tomagler for wine and all that stuff.
Speaker 1:So yeah, that is expensive did you look at the casino, sometimes they have deals oh no, I didn't, because I wasn't sure, like if kids can go they can go they.
Speaker 2:oh well, I guess you could see on the on the website. If not, if no kids are allowed on the property, because sometimes they will say that I mean girl, is it going to be warm down there?
Speaker 1:In La Paz.
Speaker 2:Temecula.
Speaker 1:Oh, Temecula. Oh, that's a good question. Let me check.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because I mean it's not necessarily warm. But you know, down in the valley where the girlies get naked, it do warm up.
Speaker 1:It does A lot more than here.
Speaker 2:Yes, so yeah.
Speaker 1:Just been doing that and then work's been, you know, busy. Yeah, actually good thing you just said that. Yeah, I guess I'll be taking my canopy.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Make sure you take something to put over you and a hat and you know so, that way you don't get too sun bummed before you go out of town.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 2:Oh, go ahead.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so just that. And then, um, I got my order in. Uh, I like my outfits and my bathing suit and stuff, so I just like trying everything on and just trying to get everything situated of like um, what you know what I'm gonna take and need. And, um, I went to get my hair done today with your hubby but, um, when we were talking, I was like, oh my god, like I haven't been on an actual vacation in like three years oh, I guess, for since your 30th birthday, then, huh, because you went to um tulum.
Speaker 2:Is that what you want?
Speaker 1:yeah, I went to tulum and cancun oh my gosh, I guess that has. That's been how long I haven't been on a vacation like since I've been single girl and you bring a sand to the beach. Honey, la paz is like, it's not like you know, it's more laid back.
Speaker 2:So I mean, but you never know who you meet. You know, yeah, it is what it is, but that'd be fun. I think it's going to be great. You're going to have a good time. Let your freak flag fly and do all of the things you know. You know.
Speaker 1:Hang from the shower curtain if you want and surfboard if you like. You know, do all the things I'm here for. Yeah, you know I'll be partaking in water activities, you know.
Speaker 2:Mm, hmm. Great yes that that's gonna be fun. Um now on to you how is your week.
Speaker 1:What are you up to?
Speaker 2:girl. I mean the week was crazy. I just I feel like I was being challenged at every angle. They definitely were making sure that I worked for my vacation next week, and even this week going into next week is going to be crazy all the way up until I leave, because we just got a last minute assignment that has to be done before I leave and then we have an event on that Wednesday before, so I'll be working late.
Speaker 1:The day before you leave an evening event.
Speaker 2:It's from three to five. I'll probably be there until about seven o'clock, um, so I'm thinking in the morning I'm going to go get a wax and go get my nails done, um, and then yeah, okay and then I'm gonna go to um, and then I'm gonna go to the office at about 1 30 after I get my uh, all of that, um.
Speaker 2:so you know, it's just, it's been cray cray and it's going to continue to be cray cray, it seems like, until I just get out the fuck out of Dodge. Um, then, like schoolwork assignments, I had a paper due the other day. Um, I'm working on a proposal so I can speak at this conference that's coming up next year. Um, I'm doing a lot.
Speaker 1:Yeah, sounds like it.
Speaker 2:I'm doing a lot and then, you know, just meetings for the show, so it's been busy. I'm ready to go. So next week I'll be off to Hawaii. I'm going to Honolulu, hawaii for the first time. I'm going to Honolulu Hawaii for the first time. I got my. I'm about to start. I'm gonna start packing tomorrow. I actually I have not had the chance to go shop online to order anything, mostly because I've been trying to conserve the little money that I have, but also because you know I just I want to. I think I might shop a little bit while I'm there too is the other part. So we'll see.
Speaker 1:You have shopped, like for a cruise, right that you were going to go on previously, didn't you?
Speaker 2:I did shop for that cruise. You know, now that you mentioned that, I need to look in my closet and see what should I have? Yes, yeah, oh, my god, I forgot about that I got you, so you have outfits I have some stuff okay that's good to thank you for reminding me, yeah, um, yes, and I'm thinking of so specifically that I know I have, uh, that I remember you had like cute stuff like that white, all white, like yeah, that's cute I can't beach vibes I probably won't wear the top of that, but I do have another new top that I can probably use or wear.
Speaker 2:It's like a tank top and I could just mismatch it with that. Okay, that's good to know. Great memory Got you, because I definitely forgot what else I mean other than that I have to say I'm just ready to get the fuck out of here. It's just been a doozy. Last night I got home from work and I really didn't stop working until like five after five, almost six o'clock, and I had. I had started like earlier in the morning. So it's been a long week, to say the least. I had me some whiskey last night.
Speaker 1:On the rocks.
Speaker 2:On the rocks. I had me some Sir Davis on the rocks with my two spear you know the ball ice cubes and I just I had to have me a cocktail because I was like Uncle Dana needs to numb.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 2:To numb it honey, because it's been a lot. I went and got a massage on Wednesday evening. That was fabulous. I fell asleep On.
Speaker 1:Wednesday.
Speaker 2:Yeah, wednesday night, me and Paris Swing got massages and the guy was I don't remember what he was doing. He was massaging my leg and I could feel that I was falling asleep and I must have dozed off and woke up. He was like oh my God, are you okay? And I was like, yes.
Speaker 1:I was just knocked out.
Speaker 2:I was just knocked out for a split second, but otherwise you know I'm here and I have what I need.
Speaker 1:Right here and I have what I need right. Um well, the flight. Like are you like the flights? Do they make you nervous? Like for Hawaii, like are you okay with it? Are you? What time are you leaving?
Speaker 2:so I don't think I've asked you. I leave at 3 3030 from San Diego Airport no 3.30 in the afternoon and because Hawaii is three hours behind us, so right now it's three here, so right now it's 12 noon there, so when we get there it'll be nine o'clock here and 635 there.
Speaker 1:Oh, so like dinner time.
Speaker 2:So dinner time. So we get there around dinner time and it'll be nice, I mean, and then it'll have already started to cool down. It won't be too hot, it'll be, you know it'll just be like yeah when we get there? Um what time do you leave?
Speaker 1:I leave at 6 30 in the morning oh yeah, so I have to be to the I have to be to the cbx by like I want to leave. Um, we're probably yeah, like leave like at three to get to cbx like by 3 30 are you gonna drive?
Speaker 2:who's gonna drive you here, mom?
Speaker 1:no, no, I don't know, but, um, we'll be there on time, like to cbx, and then just walk across.
Speaker 2:And then, because there's no line at three right no yeah we're gonna use.
Speaker 1:You've done CBX, right? No, you haven't. No, you guys took you to the border, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:Y'all just took us over, but I remember our flight was at midnight, yeah, and we didn't get there until the next day. Yeah, y'all just took us over, but I remember our flight was at midnight, yeah, and we didn't get there until the next day.
Speaker 1:So yeah.
Speaker 2:so I think I arrived there and it'll be like nine in the morning yeah. That's going to be nice. My mom wants to go to Mexico. I was just telling my sister that today. So I think next year we're going to try and do a trip for her birthday to Mexico, for her 70th birthday.
Speaker 1:Oh, you'll have to invite me, I'll be the translator.
Speaker 2:That's fine, we could probably get like a big Airbnb or something, because usually that's when they have that you get better price out of those Right, they're always huge. They have ones that are huge and they be super cheap.
Speaker 1:Right, oh yeah, over there for sure. Like, especially like, depending where it is that you guys decide that you want to go, like for sure Airbnb.
Speaker 2:So the Padres has been kicking ass, huh.
Speaker 1:Yes, well, except this last game, but it's okay, they had to play the whole five games, the whole five series.
Speaker 2:It's so interesting the last couple of days. So what has it been? It's been four games, three or four games that they've been playing and every time I go I've been to the office this past week Everybody has theirs, Padres gear on and everything and I'm like, are y'all giving bandwagon?
Speaker 1:I was going to wear my hat but I was like, no, I just got my hair done.
Speaker 2:I mean, yes, we can't cover up what the work that he's done. It looks like you went blonder at the roots yeah, it's like blonder.
Speaker 1:I just I needed it to be blonder. It was giving like. I was just feeling a little like washed, you know what I mean. Like um yeah, and now the blonde, the blonde bitch is back I love that.
Speaker 2:I love that for her yeah, you know perfect timing it is perfect timing I mean the winter. Everybody either wants to be more blonde paris says they want to be more brunette, or brown or red or whatever the fuck, but um, that's very cute. Are you going to be giving? So what is it going to be giving on the beach? Is it going to be giving tits out, oh yeah, body out? Is it going to be giving all of that on the beach, or what?
Speaker 1:Yeah, definitely. You know, I didn't buy them for nothing. Are you going to get on a jet ski? Oh, that's a great question. Maybe I think I might. I forgot about renting jet skis now that you mentioned that. I probably will, but I'll probably drive my own jet ski because I don't trust people to drive me on jet skis. Yeah, um no, I'll just start screaming like a crazy person oh, um, yeah, but yeah, it's gonna be night in the 90s over there, so I'll probably be. You know a lot of shorts, bathing suit, cover-ups, like I got like a, like kimono, um, yeah that's gonna be fun alter top like shorts, like I got us a cute white summer dress.
Speaker 1:I know you're not supposed to wear white right now, but why?
Speaker 2:oh because after labor day but I I mean vacation doesn't count right.
Speaker 1:But I got one of those, like you know, like those white, like cottage, like, yeah, like one of those dresses. It's kind of cute.
Speaker 2:Cute. I'm here for it.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm here for it. I was going to ask you something else and now I can't remember. Well, that sounds like a good time. I'm so excited that we're gonna be on vacay and we are rooting for the Padres even from vacay. I think it would be dope if they do go to the World Series. Um, I've when I was in the Bay Area and when the Giants went to the world series and won, um, it was pretty cool.
Speaker 2:It was a lot of live energy um so you know, I can only imagine san diego is going to be lit if, uh, the fucking padres go to the world series and then have the possibility to win have you been seeing videos of everybody going on Highland in National? City.
Speaker 1:So Highland Avenue is like the main, is one of the main roads in National City and it's a well-known road for a lot of cruising, like lowrider cruising, old school cars and like car club community stuff like like that, because it is so long and you can it. It goes like far like you can ride it down into chula, you can ride it up into like um, like chicano park, almost like you can take that road.
Speaker 2:It's like a bike trail, or is it? No, it's a street, it's an.
Speaker 1:It's like a main road, like a main street highland highland avenue.
Speaker 1:So, yeah, so off of, uh, so off of when you exit and you you go on to highland by like the starbucks and all of that. Um, everyone has been crowding there and the lowriders are passing and jumping their lowriders and like people are waving like padre flags and just everyone is being celebrating and being united, which is is dope to see. It's all over tiktok right now and my baby, manny machado, is all over tiktok and you know that beast is all over your baby is insane oh, if they hear this, could you imagine?
Speaker 2:I mean, he would have to. He needs to slide in our DMs. If he does, listen and come on the show no, not my baby, but you know it's dope to see he's cute. Yeah, oh, he has. He's married oh her name is Yanni Alonso interesting.
Speaker 1:But you looked up the videos of Highland and stuff no, I just looked up the street.
Speaker 2:I do see it. I mean obviously driven down Highland before it's broken up. That's a broken up street. It like breaks up in different areas. So the speaking of streets and trails. Tomorrow I am going to go test ride a bike.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, an electric bike.
Speaker 2:Yes, I think I've mentioned on here before that I had thought about going to get an electric bike. I actually have a post that I posted a long time ago on Facebook that said that I'm going to buy me a bike and you know that was going to be my main source of transportation a long time ago, but I think that was before I even moved here. Watch, after we record this, it'll pop up on my Facebook. But yes, I've always wanted to add a bike to my. You know my regimen of interacting with the nature and getting around interacting with the nature and getting around. So I'm officially moving forward with doing so. What inspired me was partially all the fucking traffic. Okay, that's number one.
Speaker 2:Gas isn't terrible for my car, but you know, I don't really have to fill up that often. I feel like maybe once every two weeks. Uh, depending on how often I'm going into the office. Um, I can sometimes get away with three weeks, like next week. I'm like I have. I think I have like 50 miles, 10 gallons right now. I don't think I'm going to fill up for the new week, for the next week, because I leave town on Thursday. So there's no real point for me to spend money on gas, but also, you know, I've also been having a hard time getting back into the gym. So I'm looking for other ways to get kind of that exercise or that activeness in. So you know, obviously if I'm riding it to work I have to ride it back home.
Speaker 1:Question yes, so like on electric bikes, like do you have to pedal and stuff, or yes, great question.
Speaker 2:So yes, so you can do either. Or right, so, um, for the most part they have like um I don't know the proper terms yet but you can turn up and down the levels for uh, if you want to use the torque on the bike. So say, for instance, if it's like at a level two, it won't use as much as, like your battery energy and you can continue to pedal. That that it's like when, like a hybrid car and how the more you press on the gas, the more it helps charge the battery of your car. So it's kind of like the same thing the more you pedal it helps keep the charge of the battery. And so, yes, you can pedal and yes, you could do either or you have the option.
Speaker 2:So when I got back inspired to do it, it was because I saw a co-worker. He rides his from Chula Vista to work. A co-worker. He rides his from chula vista to work, um, and I'm assuming he takes like probably one of the main streets that comes all the way down on the um on the tight lands and it's probably pretty easy. But um, he says he uses his, uh, he mostly uses the torque in the morning so he doesn't be sweating when he gets to work and then after work, he that's when he pedals the most after work, because he's just going straight home. Um, so I think I'm gonna do the same oh, that's cool yeah, have you looked?
Speaker 1:up, like the roads that you would take yeah, so I did some research.
Speaker 2:So essentially I would take um. So you know, you know my, my main road, and then, uh, you know, briarwood uh-huh so I would take that whole back road all the way up to national city and then I would hit market and take everything uh from market all the way down to um pacific highway oh, okay um, and it says it would take me about an hour and nine minutes, which I mean on a good day it takes about 40 or 45 minutes to get to work.
Speaker 2:So it's not really. I mean it's a it's. What is that? Like 10, 15 extra minutes?
Speaker 2:yeah, like 20 minutes so I don't know really, I would have to think about it, it would have to depend, but I do think I'm going to get the bike. So if I ride it to work, I do. I was thinking that I would ride it on Fridays when I work, and I was probably riding on Fridays when I have to go to work and then just ride it on the weekends any other day like ride to the shop, you know are you going to get like a cool little helmet? I think so, duh.
Speaker 1:All the accessories.
Speaker 2:You know, I'm going to get all the accessories. I want the I want, so the one that I want, let I want. So the one that I want. Let me show you the one that I want. Um, it has a rad. So the place that I'm gonna get it from is the. Actually, it's an ib what is it called?
Speaker 1:rad bikes oh, okay uh, rad bikes is um oh, is it on imperial beach boulevard or on pond, is it?
Speaker 2:is it? Is it, is it?
Speaker 1:nope, it's on florence, oh okay, florence street, imperial beach, california, um let me show you the one that I want it's on Florence.
Speaker 2:Oh okay, Florence Street, Imperial Beach, California. Let me show you the one that I want. So it's this one, and I want the large, but I think I'm gonna get it in green, because they have it in burgundy and green. I just think it's gonna. It's, it's just so cute. It's just so cute.
Speaker 1:Pause for reaction.
Speaker 2:Pause for reaction I'm sure the people listening like can we see, okay, I just sent it to you. Um, so I just feel like, and so I told Paris. I was like I think I'm gonna buy my bike. Take a little more time to decide about buying a car, because then it'd give me time to like what kind of car I want to buy. Save some more money, you know.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So I think the bike would be a good next step oh, it's cute. It's like beach vibes right and with the fat tires yeah, it looks like almost like a cruiser yes like a beach cruiser so the only thing that I would need I do need a little basket on the back just in case, like that color is pretty. I like the burgundy, but I also like the green, like you can change it.
Speaker 1:I do need a little basket on the back just in case.
Speaker 2:like that color is pretty. I like the burgundy, but I also like the green. Like you can change it to the green and I like the orange. The orange wheel walls on it. It's cute, yeah, and it's not a bad price and they're having like a sale for like $400, $300 off right now. Okay, so that's probably going to be my new, one of my new sources of transportation. So when you see me pulling up on my two wheels, and your helmet. And my helmet, so don't be laughing at me.
Speaker 1:It's cute.
Speaker 2:You know, I'm just I'm, I'm really I. I want to do something like I've always wanted to get one. I always wanted to um to. You know, just do something else to get around um spice it up spice it up. Yes, that do something different other than going into the gym every day, cause clearly that has been a challenge.
Speaker 1:Right. So hopefully I've been trying to go every day this week I was like okay, vacation, crunch time, one meal a day, gym for two hours.
Speaker 2:Not you trying to pass out in the gym?
Speaker 1:Hot girl diet.
Speaker 2:Girl, I've been drinking um back drinking. You know how I used to drink those like my little tonic teas with apple cyanide vinegar and green uh tea and all of that. I've been back doing that again. Um, how do you feel? I feel good, but you know I also haven't really been jerky yeah, I've been drinking.
Speaker 1:Uh, there's this, uh this tea, this mexican tea that they saw at the mexicans market. It's called chupa grasa oh, that sounds interesting that just like cleans you out. You wake up with a flat tummy. Oh okay, flat tummy. I'm here for that. What's it called? Again, I'll send you a picture. It's called chupa grasa.
Speaker 2:That sounds like it's going to tear me up, girl.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but it feels so good after.
Speaker 2:I mean Well.
Speaker 1:I like that, I like like cleanses, I like like.
Speaker 2:Yeah, clear me out. Yeah, same, I do too. I would rather that than any other anything else, I mean. So, okay, well, maybe we could take a small little breaky and then we'll come back and get into some more tea okay alright stay tuned bye, hey girl.

Speaker 1:So Stephanie was asking me because she knows me and because I don't know what to do with mine but she was asking what, how am I going to do my nails for Hawaii?
Speaker 2:so you know, I went and looked up like nail things right, so I think I'm gonna. So I knew I wanted like coconut, palm trees and like pineapples. So I went and found. I went and found like some little designs and options. Um, so what the fuck? Okay, so did you update your phone?
Speaker 2:I don't know. This new update is just it's making me feel old Because I have no idea where anything is anymore. But I mean, I'm not going to lie to you. Like the whole little memory section and like the trip section is everything. It's very cute, it makes it easy to find stuff, but I can't find, like, my screenshot. Oh, here we are albums, okay, here we are. I found them. Um, okay, where's the screenshot button? Though I don't know where. How do I find my screenshots? Friends, apple, help me.
Speaker 1:Siri, pull up my screenshots.
Speaker 2:Oh, I found it Okay. Or did I not send them here? What did I do? Um, sorry y'all. I mean, if you haven't noticed, this episode is not going to be have any specific topics. Um, yeah, we are definitely just doing a free for all episode and that's going to be that, so welcome it's like if you guys are in the sala with us and we're just chatting it up.
Speaker 1:So this is what I found send it to me and text you go back a little it's because you have to go like this and then like this. Oh wait, it does the same thing, right or like? This Hold this still.
Speaker 2:Is it still working? It's blurry.
Speaker 1:Unblur.
Speaker 2:I need to make sure. Okay, it looked a little crazy back there, but whatever, can you see it?
Speaker 1:Yeah. Oh, like fruits not the fruits, but the. You see the coconut with the gold it went out. Send it to me on text also okay.
Speaker 2:So anyway, um, I'm trying to go with the theme of hawaii essentially. I also have one where it's like palm trees and, like you know, they do like the lays. Um, I'm, but I'm trying, I want her to mix it up because she's really good with, like, doing that type of stuff. The girl, my girl, that I'm gonna go to, so, but the so I'm going to send you this one picture. I really like these and I think that's kind of more. So the direction is what I'm trying to do, like the mix of different stuff. I just sent it and then, but I do definitely want a coconut on one of my nails and a palm tree.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's cute.
Speaker 2:Yeah, those are cute. I don't like the little turtle thing though. Yeah, that is cute, but I like I like the license plate thing.
Speaker 1:Oh, I like the second one, the flowers right isn't it giving?
Speaker 2:and the middle finger the only one I like on. The last one I just sent you was the coconut drink with the gold nail. But I don't want the gold background, I just want my neutral, my regular neutral color. I always do. Yeah, in the background background, I just want my neutral my regular neutral color. I always do, yeah, in the background.
Speaker 1:So you're going to do a neutral color with designs.
Speaker 2:Yes, yeah.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:That is cute.
Speaker 2:Isn't it cute? Yeah, I can't wait and I got a little length right now, so I'm going to think I'm going to keep my length.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So yeah.
Speaker 1:I wasn't sure. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a design like designs or not.
Speaker 2:Mm-hmm, I mean you should yeah. You should do like a La Paz across all your fingers. What are what?
Speaker 1:like when people get it on their knuckles like true love.
Speaker 2:La Paz. Let's see what are their like native flowers, or something oh, that's a good idea la paz native flowers. Let's hit some images. Oh you can do. Like this bushy little flower thing, or like a um, what does it say? Like a sweet pea flower? Oh, this one's pretty. Let me share my screen. Let's see, share. I don't know what that means. Can you see it? Oh yeah like this one.
Speaker 1:Oh, that's a cute one, right um dana, except um it's not la paz, it's it's stephanie, I am I.
Speaker 2:I thought I taught you.
Speaker 1:I thought I taught you better than this.
Speaker 2:Oh, I didn't even put La Paz. They put that that was Google. I actually put a Z. Oh, I auto corrected it auto corrected to La Paz Fuckers. How dare they? How? Dare they, but I think this is something like tropical yamaha yeah, like, um, yeah that would be cool yeah, something like floral.
Speaker 1:Um. Yeah, I just don't like like the bright ass color nails. Um, or, like you know, cactus, like everyone thinks, like Mexico and then like cactus like they think cactus instead of like agave yeah, well, I mean we, we think agave because we're tequila drinkers yeah, that's definitely what I think.
Speaker 2:Right um, what else could you do, right um?
Speaker 1:what else could you do? I mean, have you seen those nails right now that are in, that are like, um, they're like mermaid vibes almost, and they're like textured? Have you seen them or no? Oh, with like the clear gel uh-huh, and then they make it almost like a, like a scale, mermaid, uh-huh, like a scale or like a spin yes, I've seen those, yes they're kind of cute I like I think they're fine yeah, I just don't know that I if I would like it for me because like the thickness of it yeah, I did those for my birthday.
Speaker 2:I mean, I didn't do those, but I did something like them. They were like gold remember the gold? And like um, uh, where are they? They were like gold and they had, like, I had that jewel on my nail. Did you see me for my birthday? Where were you for my birthday?
Speaker 1:first of all dana. I went to their dinner oh, that's right. I didn't get my nails done until after for the uh, for the casino yeah, and then that was the same day as oh, that's cute, that was the same day as my daughter's birthday party oh, that is cute yeah, so, but yes, I have seen those.
Speaker 2:I don't know. I do think it can be bulky, but it also just depends on how long you get your nails too right well, you know me, I like a little longer. Yes, yeah can we take a quick yeah? My kids okay, um, let's take a quick break.
Speaker 1:Uh, because we have to and we're back what about gold like like nudish, but with gold, like a gold design? Is that vacation vibes or no?
Speaker 2:yeah, I mean, I think that's all relative. It's like what do you whatever you consider to be vacation vibes like yeah, or whatever you're feeling, are you gonna wear a lot of gold, though? That's the question.
Speaker 1:Well, you wear gold accessories yeah, yeah, wear gold yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, I mean, I think that should be fine, do you know? Do what your heart desires, you know? Yeah, just have fun. Have fun, have sex, get it wet and make it dribble. Who the fuck cares?
Speaker 1:Put that thing down, flip it and reverse it.
Speaker 2:You know, give up the guac guac 3000.
Speaker 1:Not the guac guac 3000.
Speaker 2:You know, with the pinky out.
Speaker 1:Who cares?
Speaker 2:Like you know, it's going to be hot. Tits are going to be out for the boys having fun. You know, let's just live our lives. Um, have you been seeing anything about? Love is blind this season?
Speaker 1:um just what? What you sent me, though?
Speaker 2:okay. So Love is Blind. Season 7 is here and it is got a lot going on, and especially the smooches.
Speaker 1:This takes a it's a weird day. Now, that was crazy. I just want to say girl.
Speaker 2:Okay, let's talk about it. So, so this season, um, the highlighted uh people for this season. The highlighted people for this season are Leo. Leo is supposed to be a person who's a millionaire Well, I guess really well off because his parents passed away, all his family died and left him the family business, essentially. So he's like an art dealer. It gives very. He murdered them off and took the money, but that's not. That's neither here or there, right, um?
Speaker 2:Then there's hannah. Hannah's this 26 year old or 27 year old, uh, tall white girl from I think she said like north car, some shit like that, she from the country. And then there's Brittany uh, this pretty, this prissy little white girl, um, with boobs and, um, she says she can take a man with just the look of her eyes and all the men want to take care of her and all the things. Then there's Nikki D, who's like super Rico Suave and used to play football, was going to go pro until I think he got injured or something, and he actually ends up with Hannah. Then there's Tim and Alexandra. Tim is from what used to be in the military. Alexandra is, I think I'm pretty sure she's adopted, but she is there. They are the ones who end up together. There's Taylor and Garrett, there is Steven and Monica, there's Ramses, bowden and Marissa, and then there's Tyler and Ashley A.
Speaker 1:The one that you said. That said, like all men can take care of her. Which guy is she with the guy that, what?
Speaker 2:So here's what happened. So Leo was dating Hannah and Brittany.
Speaker 2:So Brittany is the one who says she can take any guy and you know, and they'll fall in love with her after just one look, um, so she and leo ends up uh, getting engaged after this horrible conversation uh that he had with hannah, where he essentially made her cry and like she's bawling, because she just didn't feel like he was genuine, which, after all of the stuff that he had been doing was like, just like he kept bringing up how he had a lot of money and how he's super well off.
Speaker 2:But then, in the same token, we'll talk about how he didn't want a girl to fall in love with him because of his money and didn't, and wanted somebody who was going to stay with him, even if he didn't have money and all of this shit, but would bring it up in the same breath, like every fucking five minutes to everybody. And so then, so like once Hannah had decided she wasn't going to go for him, this man like starts going off on her and then like starts being super petty about it at the end and, like you know, it's probably best that you told that you chose him because I'm in love with someone else. And actually, can you tell her when you go back to the room that I'm in love with her and that I love her, and all of this stuff Just like super petty, okay, so, what's what?
Speaker 1:because you sent me one with their signs yes, so he's leo, so that's leo the guy's name is, his name is leo.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he's an aries got it yeah, god, super petty when they're upset and their feelings are hurt. Um, so leo actually ends up proposing to britney and which is the one of the other videos I sent you so they first meet each other and you can clearly tell that britney is just like not into it. I don't know. I think that part of me think that she just said yes to get like revenge and she already knew that she wasn't going to be interested or she wasn't even interested in him at that moment anymore.
Speaker 1:Like just to say she could do it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, just to say she could do it. And you know, she just was like fuck it, like you know, we'll say yes Okay.
Speaker 2:So and it's like it was super cringy when they met like he kept kissing her and you know, was all over her and she just was like not into it and you could see it in her, like you could tell, like when she was he was kissing her. She was laughing when he said I loved you and she was like I feel like you're lying when you say that. And then he's like do you really? And she's like no, and then I'm like girl, just tell him yes, like you clearly don't feel right, like this man really loves you or that, or you don't feel like you want to be with this man right um, so they actually didn't make it to mexico.
Speaker 2:They ended up breaking it off like right before okay right before that, everybody went to mexico. Um, so then hannah ended up with nikki d. That's the rico suave guy, uh, who told her that he he resembles. Uh, what was it? Chris Cavall, chris Cavanaugh?
Speaker 1:Um. His name is uh Ramses or what no, nikki?
Speaker 2:Nikki D.
Speaker 1:Oh, Nikki P.
Speaker 2:D as for Dick.
Speaker 1:Oh, Nick D Got it.
Speaker 2:Um, and he told her that he. He told her he looked better than uh. What's taylor, swift's boyfriend name? Oh, what the hell yeah, I don't know his name got the football player yes lies for like, straight up lies, like, and then like he looks like um the other dude, other dude. What is his name?
Speaker 1:Chris Cavall there's two Brittneys.
Speaker 2:Travis Kelsey. He's like I would look a little bit better than Travis Kelsey and he ends up with who?
Speaker 1:Hannah?
Speaker 2:and he ends up with who? Hannah. Okay, hannah's the tall blonde girl. Oh, henry Kavanaugh is his name, okay, so he ends up with Hannah. Hannah's this 27 year old. Like I said, she quit her job before she came, so she is. She said I'm really trying to make sure I find love love that for you right, um, super confident.
Speaker 2:I just feel like you know, I feel like there's a little bit of it to me is like the confidence is great, like it's fantastic love that for her, I think that's like you know, women empowerment, that's amazing. But like, I do feel like sometimes she's like over, she's like always picking on this man, you know, like about every little thing, and I think she thinks it's coming off loving, but I, you know it's it's not loving, like that's not, it's not what love is. Girl right, like um, and I, and I know it's because she's still young, she's still in her fucking 20s, she's only 27, he's 29, so he doesn't, he definitely doesn't know any better um, but I bet you, if he told how she talks to him, to his parents, they would not like her as much as they think they do. Her being unemployed and um, she made a joke about him and doing all of this in front of her brother, who was over there visiting, eating dinner, and I was like this isn't this is a big no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 1:You just don't do that yeah, because then later on, when you're serious and then it comes out, then it's like but that's how we play yeah you know, like that's how we play yeah, yeah, so that was a red flag to me.
Speaker 2:Um, tim and alexandra are uh so tim is super like grieving because he lost both of his sisters, uh, within the last few years. Um, alexandra is a you know she's a plus size girl, but she's gorgeous. Um, and something happened in. They got into some sort of argument and they had to. It's like they stopped filming, obviously, or it happened off film and I don't know. It just seemed weird because when they came back, they it just seemed like the guy had his. He just seemed scared and he seemed like he. Um, he seemed like a deer with like in headlight and like like you know how, when something traumatic happens to you, yeah, and you just don't know what to do about it, you don't really know how to talk about it.
Speaker 1:So you're like frozen, like you're frozen right, and they didn't film it, so we didn't really know how to talk about it.
Speaker 2:Like you're frozen, Like you're frozen right, and they didn't film it, so we didn't really see what happened. But so when they were in Mexico the night before I guess the night of whenever argument they had happened they had went back. This was after they had their mixer, so this was, after all of the couples and all the people actually finally got to meet each other after being in the pods, and I guess they got into some argument and she was like you know, I just really didn't know how to express to you but all I really I've just been missing my family, I'm missing home. I'm just ready to go home, yeah. And so, however, the fight transpired after that. It seems like it really fucked homeboy up, and to where? Like you know, he just looked very blank in the face and I think she got in his face and like was super, just like calling him out his name and saying shit to him that you know was super, just disrespectful. That's what it gave. It gave that.
Speaker 1:Very much, yeah, like maybe she's not good with words, or like they don't know how to express themselves, right?
Speaker 2:I just think she's. I think she likes to fight, she likes to argue. Yeah, I think she's one of those girls and I think she's super toxic about it. I think she thinks it's cute. Um, I think that you know, she may have used to be bullied at one point in time. So she, um. So somehow she gets triggered that way and it becomes this super toxic argumentative issue what is she? Uh, she's a black girl. You mean like sign wise uh-huh like sign what is her sign?
Speaker 1:I don't know what was her name again?
Speaker 2:Alexandra, I forgot that. I even sent you.
Speaker 1:Oh.
Speaker 2:Leo? Is she a Leo? Yeah, well, there's your answer.
Speaker 1:She's pretty though she is pretty, but her picture she does look like a little attitude.
Speaker 2:She's like you know yeah, I mean, but now that I know she's a leo, it all makes sense got it um, everything I said was true then, especially like big girl leo's, like they love to try and throw their weight around and bully people, like so, like yep facts. Um, who else? Okay, so next, so you know right now, like I'm really so, taylor and garrett. So taylor is a filipino girl and garrett's this white guy. Um, they're super cute, I think that I think they are one of the ones who are actually going to get married, um, because they just have good chemistry. Uh, garrett's a tourist, taylor is a Pisces.
Speaker 1:They usually work really well together yeah.
Speaker 2:And they look cute together. Yeah, usually, and you know, I just I think they're going to do well. I think they are one of the ones who are going to make it through the whole process, so we'll see. I don't really have anything negative to say really have anything.
Speaker 1:They look like a cute couple yeah, yeah, 100.
Speaker 2:Steven and monica. So steven is this white guy, uh, he's apparently make a half black. He learned after doing ancestrycom that he has a little black in him. Um, and monica is a black girl. She I I'm pretty sure they said that she was miss universe, um, but she's a gorgeous black girl, she's, um, she's really nice. But I don't know, I can't, I couldn't really get a read on what it was between her and Steven that she wasn't rocking with. I know that he talked a lot, so that bugged her, but, um, I also feel like I don't know, I, I didn't really feel a hundred percent like she was into him. Ish, I don't know.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I think things started to go downhill right before they left from, uh, from Mexico, and then, once they finally got home, he started to express that he was starting to have doubts about them getting married. Um, they started to talk about sex a lot and he also was making statements like about anal and sticking his dick in anything he also talked about, like you know, girls are going to see him on the show and want to suck his dick and I'm just like what the heck.
Speaker 2:Yes, he told her that was telling her that in front of, like the another, like some other, the girls out of the group. Um, so then actually he and her actually broke it off because he went to a sleep test and was drunk and was texting some other girl talking about how he wanted her to suck his dick and he wanted to cum in her and all kind of shit. Like it was some crazy shit and I think ultimately it's that he likes to be dominated. He kept alluding to it. He kept like he said to her you know, really I just want you to treat me like a piece of meat and, like you know, I'm here for all of that.
Speaker 1:so, um, that's crazy being yeah, but I mean there's a way to say that you know the other way. I mean no not like, like. There's another way to say you want to be dominated.
Speaker 2:Well, there's a way to like, like, have an actual conversation.
Speaker 1:And like your preferences and stuff Versus like saying like, oh yeah, like everybody's going to want me, or like like you know what I mean like you know what I mean.
Speaker 2:Well, I wonder if he's ever talked to her about it or was scared to talk to her about it because he was scared of how she was going to react. Um, because you know, she doesn't give me like overly sexual super sex kitten. We'll let this, we'll do whatever this man wants, or but, or we'll do it to him like I think he was into, like he's into the shit yeah you know, like he I yeah it definitely gave that um, ramses and marissa.
Speaker 2:So marissa was she was in another a little, she was another group that was in like a little bit of a love triangle. So she was choosing between Ramses and Bowdoin and Bowdoin had like another long, uh military history background, just like she does. Um and Ramses I believe he works in marketing. I think it says, and you know so she was she liked both of them. In the end she did choose and get engaged to Ramses and you know she broke it off with Bowdoin because she just felt like he was too much like the homeboy and they were too much alike they do look like, they like they give like a same kind of aura like a.
Speaker 1:I don't want to say hippie, but like the same kind of aura Like a. I don't want to say hippie, but like.
Speaker 2:The vibe.
Speaker 1:Percy, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:The funny part is Ramses is like that. He's not as masculine. He doesn't give off that toxic Masculinity energy and I feel like Bowdoin does. It did come out that allegedly Bowdoin does. It did come out that allegedly Bowdoin has sexual harassment charges against him from like a previous the guy yeah, whereas Ramses, you know, he's like a saint, super cute and mixed guy. He's like from Venezuela. I'm pretty sure he has some sort of israeli something mixed in there, but he's cute, he's really cute yeah, they're.
Speaker 1:I mean they're both handsome. It's just like the hair, like the braid thingy hanging in the back. I hate it that it gives me like rat tail vibes, like when it used to be like the thing. That it gives me like rat tail vibes, like when it used to be like the thing. Sorry, my mailman is passing it's fine.
Speaker 2:Um, I yeah, I don't like it, I hate it. Um, right now they're going. So it's clear that he does not like Marissa's military background. He has strong views of the military and you know what they do and how you know what they do and how you know the complicated history about Venezuela and the.
Speaker 2:U S and the military and all of that plays a huge part of it, which totally understand. And also they're having a huge conversation and fight right now about birth control and having sex with condoms or without, and he's talking about how it doesn't. He doesn't. He wants it to feel good for both of them and he doesn't want to. He essentially he don't want to have to use a condom to have sex. Ramses yes, and she doesn't want to go on birth control. And I'm just like that is okay.
Speaker 1:So let's be real for a second.
Speaker 2:Yeah. That really is like a theme I was just going to say. I was like do we really be out here arguing with our partners about having sex with condoms and birth control?
Speaker 1:I wouldn't say argue Like I don't know the context of their like their situation. Argue like I don't know the context of their like their situation. It is hard though, because, like for me, that you know, breast cancer also like it's breast cancer awareness month, so, now that I think about it so it's bringing that to light make sure you get your checkups and stuff. But, um, some, like you know, forms of contraception are like very hormonal and can increase your risks, and things like that also like hormones. You know it messes with your skin and your mood and everything else. Um, the drive to want to do things, like you know, with your partner and stuff. So it's like, uh, yeah, you, I mean you have to have a conversation and there has to be some sort of agreement, you know, or think I don't know, I'm just like, I'm like this really should not be that big of a conversation.
Speaker 2:I feel like why are you put? If, if you don't want to have kids right now, then you should wear a fucking condom, and you don't. And she doesn't want to go on birth control again. So you know why are we putting making? Why are we putting this on the woman, like it's not two people in here, like she has to go on birth control. Birth control has stronger effects on women than you putting a fucking condom on and you're talking about, you're worried if it feels good or not. Well, then you know what. We can also not fuck at all. How about that? Because that that's the type of bitch I am like. If you don't want you, if you can't compromise and you don't want to think of any other options, you don't feel like she needs to go on birth control. You're not thinking about her body, you're only thinking about if the pussy gonna feel good or not. You can get the fuck out of here like, excuse me, because it's just that's the type of time I'll be on yeah because, no, he can fuck off.
Speaker 2:Um, but before we continue, let's take a quick break and then we'll uh finish talking about the last few couples.

Bye, familia um.
Speaker 2:So just to wrap it up with about, uh, ramses and marissa, I just they are one of the they are one of the couples that I do see foresee them actually getting married. Um, but I think it's going to take them thinking about, it's going to have to really just be like are we in love? Are we going to go through this and, just you know, ride this out or not? I also feel like it doesn't help that Marissa's mother is like super against marriage, more so in a way of, just like you know, I don't believe that it's forever. It's like you know, you'll tolerate each other for however long you feel like you want to, and then you'll eventually get a divorce, and I'm like yikes she must have had a bad experience.
Speaker 2:I think she Marissa did say that her parents split up, obviously, and her mom is one of those moms where you know she'll say you know, yeah, she's a bitch talking about her daughter, and I'm just like Cringe.
Speaker 2:Cringe, yeah, so so we'll see. The last couple is Tyler and Ashley A, which I mean, if you thought Stephen and Monica was a doozy. So this couple I was pretty sure that they were going to. You know, just give us no issues and, you know, ride it out. And because they, you know, pretty much fell in love. He loves him, some of her and vice versa. And they were matching shoes in Mexico and everything at one point and super cute. And then just recently, after they have had several conversations about having kids and all of the things, ashley finds out that he has two other children, that he already has and has been a sperm donor. So she's super traumatized right now about it and upset.
Speaker 1:So so he has two kids that he sees he has two kids that he's not involved with.
Speaker 2:A couple came to him, from what it sounds like, because they they actually have not gone deep into the conversation yet, um, but he has kids that a couple came to him and asked him to donate sperm and he did and they had kids and that was that. That's all we know right now. So I don't know.
Speaker 1:That's interesting.
Speaker 2:It is interesting.
Speaker 1:Like, how do you move on Like in a relationship when you you know like you do that for somebody with good intentions and it's like you know what I mean.
Speaker 2:Why didn't you tell me this in the beginning, though I feel like it the end to tell people until they get engaged. They could tell people in the pods and give them the option to decide what they want to do. Like why wait? Like that stuff you should have disclosed from the beginning because it probably scares girls away.
Speaker 1:I mean not saying it's okay, but I'm saying like, like men do that that's crazy a lot of men do that, or they don't want to be honest and transparent 100%, because women too, you know absolutely absolutely.
Speaker 2:I'm perfect I also think that I mean, all in all, I do think that this season has been one of the best seasons, uh, since for a long time. Um, the last couple of seasons were not amazing, uh, so this one was pretty, has been pretty good so far. Um, but you know, I'm not a hundred percent confident that all of these couples are actually going to marry each other, um, which would be a very huge hit if they don't. Um, but you know, know, we'll see. Um, yeah, so that's love is blind right now. So you know, we'll see how everything goes over the next couple of weeks, uh, I think next week. I think we're at 12 days until the wedding right now. So next couple of episodes should be the wedding days.
Speaker 1:So then they all go to the altar and then they say like, yes, I want to marry you, or no, I don't want to marry you.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they go to the altar and determine if love is truly blind.
Speaker 1:And their family goes.
Speaker 2:And sometimes their family do go, sometimes they don't, but you know. Then they determine if love is truly blind or not, and they say I do or I don't what?
Speaker 1:yeah, if you would have like before you got married, would you have done something like that?
Speaker 2:but I wouldn't yeah, I would went on love with something like love is blind. Yeah, yes, um oof girl. I don't know, though, because on a public platform. Oh we that just would be intense it's a lot of pressure yeah, dating itself is already a lot of pressure.
Speaker 1:And then, like, putting it on a public platform and then, like I feel like it's one thing, like if you see someone and you're like you have, like an attraction or like something, some energy like, something like pulls you in, you know, and you're just like I didn't really think it was cute, but something about him, you know.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Versus, like you're in two little bubbles and you're just like you can't even feel.
Speaker 2:You know what I mean? Yeah, I just like you can't even feel. You know what I mean. Yeah, I don't know, because the thing about me is like, even when I was dating like I was, I always tried to make sure that I was like very as transparent as possible, like honest, um, and communicate very well um would you say like you're not the only person I'm seeing, like if they asked I mean, I think so I don't know that I've ever been asked no um oh interesting no, but I'm pretty sure if I was like dating someone else, then I think I was honest.
Speaker 2:But I don't know that anybody ever asked, because you know these homosexuals is always dating somebody.
Speaker 1:Got it.
Speaker 2:So I don't think they the conversation. I think the conversation only ever really came up one time, when I was dating like a guy. I was about to say a name and thank God I didn't a guy a while ago and I think I just was like you know, I'm not dating anyone else at the time and I think it's because oh, I know why Because I went over to that nigga's house and he told me that he had been on a date and I was like oh, oh, are you still dating other people? He was like uh, yeah, are you not? I was like been here every weekend?
Speaker 2:nope, this is awkward this is awkward because I was mean, but I think the thing is like. My point is, I guess, if you don't make that clear or have that conversation, then how is somebody supposed to know? Yeah, but the person at the time they had just gotten out of a real strong relationship and you know, I think by chance, you know, he met me and we just hit it off and there was that. So well, shall we close it out? I did choose a tarot.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:I think it's a great time to do a tarot. I think our next we'll talk about it. Uh, I did choose a tarot and, um, I pulled the. What did we call it? The hierophant card? The hierophant card, uh, and this card speaks of law, order and social relations, so kind of like what societal norms we believe and look into, and um, kind of generational, generational societal norms, um, that we play into. Um, so, just like the goddess Hira, who is the? Uh, okay, hold on my line, okay, wait. Okay, here we go. The archetype of marriage and relational order. Hera is a jealous goddess who becomes destructive when faced with infidelity. And in the card we also find a seed of a seed of crisis, the number V. Oh, okay, where is that?
Speaker 1:at the number five.
Speaker 2:Yes, oh, five. Okay, there it is. It's the number of instability. Ooh, following the instability number of is iv. Is that six?
Speaker 2:uh, iv, I think four, oh yeah, six, six um, the relationship with the other, human or divine, bears a crisis that can be overcome only through faith. This recalls the work of Zia Hadid, who challenged the rules of architecture with her innovative recreations. Maintaining a balance between vision and stability determined the faith. Zia Hadid challenges the architectural conventions, placing them in crisis, while also putting them back together, bringing form and structure to her ideas. The question is what do you truly believe in? What are the messages that you don't want to listen to right now because they could lead to a crisis? How can you reclaim your faith after a difficult moment? Interesting? This got deep for no reason. I'm like I don't even know where this all came from. I really don't.
Speaker 1:I'm like no, this is reading me like what's been going on girl.
Speaker 2:What am I missing? That's crazy, yeah, that's crazy have you been secretly like living in like societal norms that I didn't know about, or thinking about some?
Speaker 1:other things. Are you secretly engaged and I don't know about? No, or?
Speaker 2:thinking about some other things. Are you secretly engaged, and I don't know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, right, no, I think, like, like having like it said, like having faith after, like destruction that's kind of what I took from it, right, like that's what it said. Um, like having faith after destruction really resonated with me, um, and I think, like for me, um, yeah, like just having faith in, I think, like what I'm trying to say is that, like for me, it's very hard to open up and to um take somebody serious and trust that their intention with me is going to be um pure. So sometimes I don't even bother, like Giving that, like you know what I'm saying, I'm like I'm not even going to take this serious Because I don't think they're going to take me, but I don't even give it like a chance. Do you know what I'm saying? This did get deeper, yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:But I think it's because I have so much like doubt or like, um, you know, like just you know, you go through certain things and then you're like you hit a certain age as well and you're just like this is some bullshit, like you know, um. But I feel like I've been trying to work on that and be like okay, well, let me, let me just try. You know, it doesn't mean I'm going to go and like get married the next day, or like I'm going to give everything, or like I'm going to like put my heart on the line completely or something, but like just let myself be open more. You know, okay, I mean, you know what I mean no, I do.
Speaker 2:I, I mean, I haven't even thought about this like yeah, me neither.
Speaker 1:This.
Speaker 2:I'm just coming up with this like quick, like this is just, I don't know I mean obviously there's more that came to mind, but that's just like yeah I mean, I think for me, I guess, um, seeing faith through crisis, like you know, you know, I don't know I've been, the struggles that I've been having has really just been with work connections, and so the crisis has been the inability to be able to build connections in the workplace like I'm usually able to do, and so that has been an issue, because there's been a lot of things up in the air at work.
Speaker 2:So when I think about just the card that was pulled and what they're asking or what they're talking about, that immediately comes to mind for me because it has been very, very challenging the people and, like just you know, trying to create a space where I just feel like I can come to work every day and you know, there's not be all this bullshit, like you know is there drama or not?
Speaker 2:Not really drama, just like a lot of emotions, a lot of feelings and just a lot of back and forth and up and down, like it's just a lot of that right now and I'm having to navigate that, especially being in the role that I'm in and at the level that I'm at. Like it's just, it's a lot. So that has definitely been a thing and you know, and it's created a lot of doubt, it's created a lot of emotion and wanting to change, a lot of emotion and wanting to change, make some changes, like you know. So I don't know what. I don't know, I don't know how to navigate it right now and I'm just taking it day by day, honestly.
Speaker 2:I feel like you have to be very emotionally intelligent for that you know, yes, absolutely. And you are, yes, absolutely, I even a certification to prove it.
Speaker 1:There goes my humble friend no but you should be proud of yourself for that. But but I guess what I'm saying is that, like, even though you are and everything like that, and you have the proper tools, like, it doesn't necessarily mean that it makes the job easier per se right, because you're still human yeah, so, oh, that was interesting.
Speaker 2:Um, I think the other things that has been coming up for me is um, um, just next steps in my marriage, like what do we do? Where are we going? What we got going?
Speaker 1:on um like goals like goals.
Speaker 2:You know what are our life goals together right now. Yeah, you know what's that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, like, where are we going from here?
Speaker 2:Where are we going from here? I also had a conversation with my sister today, which was also interesting that you know, just talking about moving and what to do where, where what everybody's doing, what we got going on like you know, making some real life decisions on. You know, where are my parents going to go, where are they going to move to? When are they finally going to do something different? Um, so I guess that's interesting that we picked the card that we had and having the conversations I've been having and thoughts I've been having, so, um, yeah yeah other things definitely like come to mind too, but I think it's just um.
Speaker 1:It's an interesting card, it's an interesting card it is an interesting card and what we heard on the video about that versus what you said is like it's kind of different huh, yeah, yes, yeah.
